I’m James Harrison — independent travel advisor, former military logistics officer, and founder of The Travel Interrogator. No, I won’t shine a desk lamp in your face (unless you're really indecisive), but I will ask the right questions to help uncover the kind of getaway that actually fits you.

I’ve travelled to over 30 countries across six continents — sometimes for work, often for pleasure — and I bring that real-world experience into every trip I help plan. Whether it’s your first big holiday or your tenth, I understand what makes a trip smooth, memorable, and worth every penny.

I work with all kinds of travel — from beach breaks and cruises to honeymoons, family trips, and multi-destination adventures. I’m not tied to one type of holiday or supplier, which means I can tailor trips to your needs — whether that’s total relaxation, cultural exploration, or something more adrenaline-fuelled.

My approach is simple: listen first, look deeper. I don’t just find a package and pass it along. I take a closer look — checking reviews, browsing guest photos, and asking: does this match what my client is really after? Is the location right for the vibe they want? Are there hidden quirks worth flagging up? I dig a little deeper so you can make an informed choice — and if I think a deal isn’t right, I’ll tell you.
